$CAPS Token Utility

THE NATIVE TOKEN OF
THE TERNOA ECOSYSTEM

Two security technologies. Fee-driven demand. Deflationary by design.

$CAPS powers TIP and CIFER, and serves as the settlement currency for every operation they produce. VaultBridge generates yield on every bridged position and directs a share toward permanent $CAPS supply reduction.

Revenue Streams

Demand for $CAPS is generated through real product usage — not inflation, not emission schedules.

TIP Verification Fees

TIP (TEE Integrity Prover) provides runtime protection for smart contracts and Web3 infrastructure. Projects pay ongoing fees in $CAPS across three distinct services.

Pricing is tiered across Standard, Premium, and Enterprise plans.

Runtime Monitoring
TEE enclaves fingerprint running code every 60s, compare against expected state, post ZK proof on-chain. Fees accrue continuously.
Source Verification & Audit
AI scans dependencies for vulnerabilities and flags bytecode vs source discrepancies. Each scan cycle costs $CAPS.
Autonomous Pentesting
AI-driven penetration testing probes contracts and infrastructure for exploitable weaknesses. Each cycle costs $CAPS.
02

CIFER Encryption Fees

CIFER is a zero-key post-quantum encryption network. Every encryption and decryption operation routed through its TEE enclave cluster requires $CAPS. Usage scales directly with builder adoption.

03

Appchain Settlement Fees

Every TIP proof and CIFER commitment is anchored on the Ternoa appchain. Each on-chain write carries a micro-fee in $CAPS. Volume grows with the builder ecosystem.

Direct Settlement Layer

Projects with high security requirements can settle directly on Ternoa — inheriting native VaultBridge yield and the full security stack. For these projects, Ternoa is the foundational layer their entire operation runs on.

Security

Network Security

Stablecoin staking secures both networks. Bridge stablecoins onto Ternoa to get vbAssets (e.g. USDC → vbUSDC), then delegate to validators or operators.

TIP Validator Staking

vbAssets delegated to TIP validator nodes power 60-second TEE integrity checks and ZK proof generation. Validators earn rewards in $CAPS.

CIFER Enclave Operator Staking

vbAssets delegated to CIFER operators secure the geo-distributed Intel SGX/TDX and AMD SEV enclave network. Operators earn rewards in $CAPS.

Fee-Based Rewards

Rewards draw from an expanding fee base rather than from token emissions. As usage grows, so do rewards.

DeFi

VaultBridge & Native DeFi

VaultBridge is an AggLayer technology. Bridge funds onto Ternoa and they generate yield automatically — every position becomes productive with no extra steps.

04
Yield + Burn

90% to user, 10% buys & burns $CAPS

Staking Burn

10% of all staking rewards from vbAsset delegation to CIFER enclave operators are burned, permanently reducing circulating supply each time rewards are distributed.

Deflationary

Buyback & Burn

Usage-Driven

The burn rate is a direct function of real economic activity. More funds bridged and staked means more $CAPS burned.

Continuous

Structurally different from scheduled burns. The mechanism runs continuously and scales with actual usage — not discretionary.

Supply Contraction

As ecosystem usage grows, supply contracts. 10% of all yield flowing through Ternoa permanently removes $CAPS from circulation.

Loyalty

Shield Score

Rewarding Long-Term Holders

Projects built on Ternoa's security layer that launch their own token may allocate a portion of their supply to $CAPS holders. Distribution is weighted by Shield Score — a cumulative loyalty metric.

Shield Score accrues week over week and never resets. The longer you hold, the larger your potential share of each qualifying distribution.

Cumulative
Reflects how long you've held and how much. Never resets.
Time-Weighted
Longer holding = bigger share of builder distributions.

Each qualifying project determines allocation, weighted by your score.

Usage Scenarios

Native

RWA Project Building on Ternoa

A real-world asset platform tokenizing property or commodities and settling natively on the Ternoa appchain. Every dollar passes through VaultBridge, generating yield from day one — 10% of which buys and burns $CAPS continuously.

The platform also uses TIP for runtime monitoring and CIFER for encrypting sensitive data. Every proof and commitment settles on-chain with micro-fees.

VaultBridge yield burn TIP fees CIFER fees Settlement fees
EVM

EVM Project Integrating TIP or CIFER

A DeFi protocol on Ethereum, Avalanche, or any EVM chain. No need to move to Ternoa. TIP and CIFER are available as external services — the project pays $CAPS per verification cycle or encryption operation.

The EVM project stays on its own chain. $CAPS is consumed purely through service usage.

TIP fees CIFER fees Settlement fees
Web2

Web2 Project or Open Source Repo

A traditional software company or open-source maintainer using TIP's AI scanning and pentesting — no blockchain deployment needed. Pay $CAPS per scan cycle or pentesting cycle.
